Head Chef Michael McDaid has created an imaginative modern menu featuring the finest shellfish and seafood that our shores have to offer, as well as prime cuts of meat sourced from around the UK. With an emphasis on championing smaller producers, Northbank offers an extensive menu that is made up of tasty snacks, sharing platters, seasonal classics and specials that change daily.

Manager - Angelo Lupinetti

Angelo came to England in September 2008 to learn the language and experience living in a different country. Without having any experience, he was given a position at Cliveden House in Berkshire, where he started off doing breakfasts and room service. After six months, he was promoted to commis chef de rang and from there moved up in rank until he was chef de rang. He then moved into the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant as chef de rang, then as head waiter. After two years there, Angelo headed for the bright lights of London and continued his career as a waiter here at Northbank. Over the last nine years, he has risen through the ranks and now heads up the front-of-house team as manager with typical Italian charm and efficiency.

Having started his career at Galvin @ Windows, Michael has spent more than 14 years working at renowned restaurants in the UK and the USA, including Maze and The Spotted Pig in New York. Passionate about sourcing the best seasonal ingredients from top British suppliers, he has arrived at Northbank with some fantastic ideas thanks to the experience he has gained by working with inspiring chefs for over a decade.
