Northbank offers a quintessentially Modern British menu with a Cornish influence.
Head Chef Jason Marchant joined Northbank as a Sous Chef in 2010 working alongside then Head Chef Peter Woods (ex-The Belvedere, Tante Claire). Jason's career has so far encompassed extensive training in event catering followed by three and a half years at Claridge's under the expert guidance of Executive Chef Martyn Nail and then Premier Sous Chef Andrew Jones who had won the esteemed Roux scholarship. Jason then set his sights on Rotunda in Kings Cross where he honed his butchery skills and D&D's Floridita in Soho before his arrival at Northbank.
Jason is keen to promote small independent British suppliers in his new menu, namely the Lake District Farmers who produce exceptional beef. In addition to his passion for food and restaurants, Jason is an avid supporter of motor sport, Formula 1 in particular and Tottenham Hotspurs.
